Police are currently investigating the death of a 7-year-old child who is said to have died while in foster care in Louisville.

 

An investigation into the incident began following the child’s death being reported on Sunday. The child was staying at the Bellewood and Brooklawn Facility in Bashford Manor, just off of Goldsmith Lane.

 

Results from the medical examiner and currently pending for the child’s cause and manner of death.

 

The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services confirmed the child did die while in foster care.
