One man is now facing a number of charges after an underage girl reported being sexually assaulted last month.

 

19-year-old Jeremiah James was arrested on Thursday.

 

According to the alleged victim, she was given alcohol before being sexually abused, raped, and sodomized. The girl also informed police she had allegedly seen the suspect commit a sex-crime with an animal.

 

James is charged with fist-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse, unlawful transaction with a minor, and sexual crimes against animals.

 

He is currently being held in the Carter County Detention Center.
