Sandra Kaye Castle Schmidt, age 78, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Johnson County, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022. Kaye was born May 5, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jonah Castle and Edna Adams Castle.

Local funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Dr. Mike Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Castle Family Cemetery, Whippoorwill Road, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, September 2, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
