Update: The Golden Alert has been cancelled.

An update from the Somerset Police Department:

 

GOLDEN ALERT

 

Somerset Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for Derek VanWormer, who has been reported missing since 2am EST on 09/08/2022. 

 

VanWormer is 37 years old, is described as a thin built white male, with a beard, brown hair, hazel eyes and approximately 5’09” tall and weighs around 150lbs.

 

VanWormer also has multiple tattoos. Last seen wearing a blue shirt with red stripes across it, navy blue athletic shorts, and gray Asics shoes. VanWormer was last seen at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset KY.

 

It is crucial that this individual be located as soon as possible. If you see anyone fitting this description or know of Derek VanWormer’s whereabouts, please call the Pulaski County 911
