An Eastern Kentucky prosecutor has been suspended by the Kentucky Supreme Court, after promising to help a defendant in exchange for nude photos.

Ronnie Goldy, the state’s attorney for Bath, Menifee, Montgomery and Rowan Counties, has been temporarily suspended by the court, however, only the General Assembly can remove him from office through
impeachment.

According to previous reports, Goldy exchanged 230 pages worth of Facebook messages with a woman defendant. Goldy has testified that he doesn’t remember sending the messages to the woman defendant.

The woman claims Goldy, in exchange for photos, withdrew warrants and had cases. She also claims that she had sex with the prosecutor.
