One man is now in custody following a chase with police on Saturday night.

 

Deputies were said to have been responding to a domestic disturbance call involving Dustin Johnson.

 

Johnson allegedly saw police coming and proceeded to take off in a car. Upon pulling out, Johnson struck a cattle gate before pulling into a field where he lost control of the vehicle.

 

Officials say that Johnson struck a police cruiser before crashing his car over an embankment.

 

Investigators say that methamphetamine was discovered within his vehicle.

 

Johnson now faces charges of fleeing in a vehicle, expired operator’s license, no insurance, obstructing, and possession of a controlled substance.

 

He is also said to have had warrants for domestic assault and destruction of property.
