The Prestonsburg Police Department are investigating a crash that happened yesterday, near Big Sandy Community and Technical College, at the red light on US 23.

The Floyd County Coroner’s Office confirmed a man was killed in the crash.

The coroner pronounced 79 year old James Medlock dead shortly after 11:30 a.m. yesterday at Highlands ARH.

As of now, it is unknown what caused the crash.
