A woman is now in custody after police say a man was found shot and killed on Tuesday morning.

 

According to Troopers with the Kentucky State Police, witnesses claim a verbal argument of sorts took place before the shooting.

 

Troopers say they received a call at around 8:30 AM on Tuesday morning concerning a domestic disturbance call, just off of RT 827 near Jeffs Valley, that had been responded to by the Greenup County Sheriff’s Office.

 

When deputies had initially arrived at the scene, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound lying in the driveway.

 

The names of the individuals involved in this incident have yet to be released.
