For cadet class, Kentucky State Police are now accepting applications for both new officers and the law enforcement accelerated program.

Those interested in applying can download the application by visiting the Kentucky State Police website. The outline for the application process, disqualifications, minimum requirements, and a list of required physical standards and testing information can also be found on the website.

February 28, 2023 is the scheduled start date for the upcoming cadet class.

Prospects must have been a full-time, POPS-certified police officer in the state for at least two years to quality for the 13-week Kentucky State Police cadet class.
