
A man out of Pike County was recently found guilty of federal drug trafficking charges- that involved the death of one of his customers, following a trial that lasted for three-days.
38-year-old Justin Bryant, of Pikeville, was found guilty on Friday of distribution of Fentanyl resulting in death and conspiracy to distribute heroin and Fentanyl. He is currently facing a sentence of between 20-years and life in prison when he is sentenced on February 7th.
Two other individuals, 53-year-old John Holbrooks, of Rockhouse, and 30-year-old Jayshawn Robinson, of Pontiac, MI, were also charged in this case.
Holbrooks previously pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge and awaits his sentencing on November 21st.
The charges against Robinson were dropped in exchange for his guilty plea to a charge of conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of meth and heroin in an unrelated case. He faces a sentence of between 10-years and life in prison when he is sentenced on October 21st.
