Marvin J. Thacker, 97, of Shelbiana, KY passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Marvin was born on May 5, 1925 to the late Miles Charles and Annie May Thacker in Sutton, KY.

Family will accept friends on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 6:00PM – 10:00PM with a service beginning at 7:00PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home starting at 12:00PM with DAV Rites observed by the John’s Creek Chapter #166 with burial to follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY. Old Regular Baptist Ministers will be officiating all services for Marvin.
