According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Officials, A man was hit by an SUV Monday night on County Road 1 near Chesapeake High School.

Troopers say 45-year-old Billey L. Finney of London was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital for severe injuries.

According to investigators, Finney was walking west when he was hit by a Jeep Cherokee, just after 8:30 pm is when the incident was reported.

It’s reported that there have been no charges filed against the driver at this time.
