Drug-Trafficking Organization Taken Down In Mingo County

A drug-trafficking organization was recently taken down in Mingo County.

 

The overnight operation was the result of an investigation that had been active for over two-years.

 

Several agencies made a coordinated effort in this operation, including the U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia, CUFFED Task Force, Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, and members of the DEA alongside the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force.

 

Several arrests were made with approximately eight ounces of methamphetamine and Fentanyl being recovered. Four firearms are said to have also been seized along with $14,000 in cash.

 

The following individuals were placed under arrest on felony drug charges:

 

  • 37-year-old Christopher Jackson
  • 37-year-old Kenneth Warren
  • 27-year-old Tyran Clement Turner
  • 24-year-old Dennis Michael Horn
  • 20-year-old Lauren Mikeala Horn

 

22-year-old Jasie West was also taken into custody. West was wanted on felony warrants.
