Two individuals were arrested in Wayne County on Saturday evening, following a traffic stop.
According to officers, the car in question failed to use a turn signal when exiting KY-1009.
Deputies are said to have detected the smell of marijuana during the course of the stop. A K-9
unit was used around the car, and alerted deputies to the presence of illegal drugs.
The vehicle’s passenger, Indika Spears, was found to be in possession of meth and a glass
pipe.
The driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Neal, was found with over 20 grams of suspected meth,
contained within two plastic baggies.
Additionally, a small amount of marijuana was discovered alongside a .22-caliber handgun and
$580 in cash.
Both individuals were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
