A man from Bell County was arrested on Thursday after he fled from and threatened authorities.

Deputies responded to a call at the State Probation and Parole office in Pineville on Thursday to help transport an escaped prisoner that was caught earlier in the day.

34 year old Terry Baker of Middlesboro threatened the probation officers before he ran off. He told them that he would “get his gun and use it on them”

Parole officers called deputies to take Baker to the Bell County Detention Center after he was captured.

Barker started fighting police when they were putting him in the cruiser. He banged his head against the car window until he was pepper sprayed by police.

He was arrested and charged with fleeing and evading police.
