Vernon Combs, age 92, of Hindman, KY, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his home.

He was born at Softshell, KY on March 26, 1930 to Pearl and Lilly Combs

Survived by:

Wife – Debra Combs

Children – Kay Conley, Tammi (Jeff) Draughn and Lisa Cox

Stepson – Eric Hudson

Grandchildren – Brady Conley, Kirston (Joe) Morgan, Morghan (Kevin) Blevins, Amanda (Eric) Douglas, Cole

(Rachel) Draughn, Tyler (Sydney) Cox and Tate (Peyton) Cox

Great Grandchildren – Kaydee, Clay, Connor, Hadley, Baron, Leah, Aubrey, Walker, Jaxon, Braxton, Lexie Mae,

Clay

Preceded in death by Parents – Pearl and Lilly Combs

Sisters – Beatrice, Herma, Gertrude

Brothers – Cullen, Homer

Sons-in-law – Meritt Conley and Jimmy Cox

Grandson – Meritt Heath Conley

Funeral services for Vernon Combs will be held at Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Saturday, December 17,

2022, at 1:00PM with John Street officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Memory Gardens at Hindman, KY.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel, Saturday from 11:00AM until time of service at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Bluegrass Navigators or Hindman United Methodist Church
