The Hindman Post Office reopened to the public Today after being closed for four months after the floods that devastated the region in July.

The post office had to close as flood waters caused severe damage throughout the building. This forced those who used the post office to travel to hazard to receive and send mail.

The post office will be open during usual business hours. It will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3:30 pm and 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays.

Those at the post office are asking for patience as they are transitioning back to normal services.
