The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman wanted for murder.

 

39 year old Danielle Kelly was indicted on November 18 by a Laurel County grand jury. She has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of first-degree assault.

 

According to officials, Kelly was operating an SUV while under the influence on US 25 when she struck two other vehicles back in September of 2021. This resulted in a crash that killed 44 year old Tiffany Smith of London who was a passenger in Kelly’s vehicle.

 

Three other people were involved and sustained injuries.

 

An investigation into the incident led law enforcement to discover that Kelly was under the influence of illegal narcotics.
