
The Drug Enforcement Agency recently raided the home of a local psychiatrist.
Dr. Jason Stamper was at his office at the time of the search.
At least two DEA agents were deployed to his office to make an arrest. Officers with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office are also said to have been on the scene.
Agents who searched Stamper’s home allegedly found bags of heroin, meth, and drug paraphernalia.
Stamper was arrested without incident and is currently facing charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
