
The Louisa Police Department, with the assistance of Lawrence County Sheriff’s office, arrested 4 people Thursday night in a drug bust after meth was discovered at a residence.
Louisa police officer Teddy Newsome searched a residence on Noah’s Landing in Louisa with the assistance of Lawrence County Deputy Joe Osbourne.
The search resulted in the arrest of 52 year old Hansel Wiley of Louisa, 31 year old Samantha Johnson of Louisa, and 26 year old Cory Ferrell of Sumerco, WV. 29 year old Joesph Adkins of Fort Gay was arrested for giving false information to an officer and a Lawrence County bench warrant.
Both Wiley and Johnson were charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and drug paraphernalia. Ferrell was charged with identity theft and also had a Martin County warrant for meth Possession.
All subjects were lodged into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Case remains under investigation by the officers with more subjects and charges pending Grand Jury presentation.
