The Floyd County Animal Shelter recently held a “Fill the Truck donation drive and the outcome was nothing short of successful.  The animal shelter is non profit, so reliance for supplies are heavily depended on the community. Over 600 gloves, 30 gallons of bleach, 400 pounds of cat litter, and more than a half a ton of dogfood, among other items were graciously donated.  For more information  on how you can help the shelter, or to adopt an animal call (606) 886-3189.
