A man out of Pike County was arrested following claims that he allegedly threatened to blow up Eastern Kentucky University.
46-year-old Patrick Henry Hall, of Canada, has been charged with one-count of terroristic threatening.
These charges are said to have stemmed from a phone conversation with an academic advisor on December 12th, in which Hall was allegedly upset that his son was suspended from EKU for academic reasons. He allegedly threatened to blow up the school as well as the advisor. Hall was additionally accused of threatening a senior counselor.
Hall was arrested on Sunday evening. He is currently being held in the Madison County Detention Center on a $10,000 full-cash bond.
If convicted, Hall faces a potential prison sentence of between 1 and 5 years.
