The City of Prestonsburg Enhanced 911 Center is currently accepting applications for the position of a full time 911 telecommunicator.

911 telecommunicators work four twelve hour shifts a week with three days off. This totals to 48 hours a week. The applicant must be able to work weekends, alternative shifts and holidays.The City of Prestonsburg Enhanced 911 Center offers competitive pay and a benefits package for this position.

The 911 Center said Applicants are required to have outstanding moral character and be able to undergo a thorough background check. They must also have a clean criminal record.

Applications must be submitted to the 911 Center no later than close of business on Friday, January 27. The 911 center is located on the second floor of the Prestonsburg Municipal Building.
