Floyd County Long Term Recovery Group and World Renew To Conduct Assessment of Long-Term Recovery Needs for Flood Victims

The Floyd County Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is partnering with World Renew to conduct an assessment of long-term recovery needs as a result of the July 2022 floods. This is an important step in working with the families in Floyd County to see that all available services have been applied for and that their long-term needs have been identified.

Floyd County LTRG is a community based organization in Floyd County that was established after the July 2022 flood in order to help homeowners who, after insurance and government benefits, still need help in order to recover.

The World Renew team will be in the area February 6 – 17 and will be at walk-in centers at the following locations:

Floyd County Community Center, 7199 KY Rt 80, Langley, KY February 6-10 Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

McDowell Senior Citizens Center, 4194 KY 680, Minnie, KY February 6-17 th Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Wayland Gym Annex, Wayland, KY February 13-17 th Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

World Renew teams will be wearing green shirts with the World Renew Logo and will be wearing identification.
