Ben Dahlman Tackett, age 83, of Staffordsville died Sunday February 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1939 in Paintsville to the late Wayne and Donna Pelphrey Tackett.

Friends may visit the Preston Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Thursday February 16, 2023 in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with Seth Carter officiating. Interment to follow at the Tackett Family Cemetery in Staffordsville.
