A woman from Pike County was arrested after founding a debit card and decided to use it rather than turn it in to the owner.

According to police, 37 year old Kristie Gerdes of Pikeville found a debit that was left behind at a self-checkout at Walmart by another customer. 

Gerdes allegedly used the debit card to pay for her items and make two purchases at Little Caesar’s

Gerdes was arrested on Tuesday and is charged with 2nd degree forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card
