Four Arrested Following Execution Of Search Warrant In Harlan County

An update from the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office:

 

On Friday March 3rd, 2 search warrants were executed on Fee Drive in Cawood. Upon entering the first residence, deputies located a male subject hidden in a bathroom sink base and a female subject hidden inside a washing machine. Another female subject was found in a bedroom.

 

During the search of the residence a large amount of suspected methamphetamine was found in a bag that the male subject had in the sink base along with a digital scale and $2310 US currency. Also found in the residence was suspected fentanyl, suspected cocaine, suspected “gray death”, a large amount of anabolic steroids, various pills, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.

 

A search warrant was also executed on a 2nd residence nearby on Fee Drive. During the search of the residence, suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found.

 

Shane Bowling was arrested and charged with:

 

-Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd offense (methamphetamine)

 

-Trafficking in Controlled Substance (cocaine)

 

-Trafficking in Controlled Substance (carfentanil or fentanyl)

 

-Importing carfentanil/fentanyl or fentanyl derivatives

 

-Possession of Handgun by convicted felon

 

-Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree drug unspecified

 

-Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree Anabolic Steroid

 

-2 active warrants

 

April Hall was charged with:

 

-Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (methamphetamine)

 

-Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree drug unspecified

 

-5 active warrants

 

Breanne Smiley was charged with:

 

-Probation Violation

 

-2 active warrants

 

Robert Jordan was charged with:

 

-Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)

 

-Drug Paraphernalia buy/possess

 

This case is still under investigation and additional charges are pending.
