Logan County Man Accused of Sexual Assault Has Bond Reduction Request Denied by Judge

A Logan County, West Virginia man who is accused of sexual assault had his request for a bond reduction denied by a Logan County Judge.

47 year old Michael Cline, owner of Hot Cup Coffee Shop in Logan, is charged with one count of sexual assault in the first degree and one count of sexual assault in the second degree. He is also charged with two counts of possessing and distributing sexual material of a minor.

Cline’s defense attorney filed a motion for Cline’s bond to be reduced, which was denied by a Logan County Chief Circuit Court Judge, Joshua Butcher. The bond has been set for $500,000.

Cline is currently in custody at the Southwestern Regional Jail.
