An update from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office:

On 3-4-23 Deputy Jarrett Carr was dispatched to a fight occurring on Maple Creek Rd. Deputy Brentley Patrick and Ofc. Bryson Lawson from WPD. We’re the first to arrive and secure the scene. During the preliminary investigation, a subject was located outside of a residence with suspected methamphetamine on his person. Deputy Jarrett Carr concluded the investigation and arrested the subject on felony charges.

Johnathan Douglas, age 32 of Williamsburg, was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Possessing Methamphetamine, Possessing a controlled substance 1st degree, Burglary 3rd Degree, indecent exposure 1st degree, public intoxication, and assault 4th degree.
