The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office announced the last day to pay the 2022 Property Taxes will be Monday, April 17th.

According to officials, the deadline was moved to April 17th because April 15th falls on a weekend. Officials also said the sheriff’s office will be open on Saturday, April 15th from 8am to noon. Taxes must be paid before close of business on April 17.

Any taxes that are not paid will be turned over to the County Clerk. Unpaid taxes are subject to additional interest and penalties.
