
The Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help in locating two missing Knott County teens.
According to officials, Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call at approximately 2:42 pm Yesterday concerning two teenagers going missing from the Vest community of Knott County. Troopers and the Knott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and opened an investigation.
Officials are looking for Lakota Brewer and Phillip Turner. Lakota Brewer is described as white female, standing at 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 130 pounds, having medium-length brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and pink Minnie Mouse leggings.
Phillip Turner is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, having black hair, brown eyes and mustache, and was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
The two teens were reportedly last seen around the Mine Made Adventure Park in Knott County around 7:30 am. If you have information concerning their whereabouts, you are encouraged to call the Kentucky State Police at 606-435-6069.
