Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter Giving Free Spay and Neuter

The Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter, in partnership with the Kentucky Humane Society, will be providing free spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchips for residents of Breathitt, Knott, Letcher and Perry Counties.

Dog spay/neuter will be on Wednesday, April 19th and cat spay/neuter will be on Thursday, April 20th, with vaccine appointments available April 19th-21st. Spaces are limited so dogs must weigh under 50 pounds and be younger than 8 years of age. 

Appointments are required.To book an appointment, visit kyhumane.org/careavan. When booking an appointment, be sure to look for the Hazard/Perry County location. The Clinics will be held at 50 Century Circle in Hazard.
