Two blackhawk helicopters crashed in Kentucky last night during a routine training operation. The crash occurred last night shortly before 10 pm near Maple Grove Road and Lancaster Road.

The training operation was being conducted by Fort Campbell. A military investigation is being conducted and it has been confirmed that nine soldiers have died as a result of the incident.

Kentucky State Police and several other law enforcement agencies are  assisting the military in the investigation
