Troy Bailey Jr., age 79 of Littcarr, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday March 29, 2023, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on February 4, 1944, in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Troy Sr. and Kermitt Boggs Bailey. He was the husband of the late Malvery Hall-Bailey. Married for 50 wonderful years.

 

Troy is survived by his Daughter- Peggy (Shane) Venoy; Grandchildren- Kyle (Tyesha), Lucas and Emily; Great-Granddaughter- Calirissa; Son-in-Laws- Mark Gibson and Brian Perry. A host of Special People that he loved dearly.

Troy was preceded in passing by his Wife- Malvery Hall- Bailey; Daughters- Mary Gibson and Abby Perry; Parents- Troy Sr. and Kermitt Boggs-Bailey; Brothers- Burke Bailey, Lowell Ray Bailey, David D. Bailey and Rosco Bailey; Sisters- Deloris Jean Blair and Rosa Nadine Johnson. Troy will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Troy Bailey Jr. will be 11AM, Saturday April 1, 2023, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with Justin Ritchie officiating, Military honors conducted by Knott County DAV Chapter 171. Visitation will be held on Friday March 31, 2023, from 6PM-10PM. Burial will follow at the Mountain Memory Gardens in Hindman, Kentucky.
