
Now an update from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet:
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a three-day closure along KY 610 in Pike County. The work site is located at mile point 4.3 (3.0 miles North of KY 3527) near Doc Bill Branch.
This project will replace the current pipe with a new aluminum box culvert. Crews will remove the existing structure on Monday, April 17, beginning at 8 a.m. The road will be closed at this location until work is complete sometime Wednesday, April 19.
Crews have also rescheduled a replacement for KY 3227 near Joes Creek for Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16. The work site is located at mile point 5.0(5.0 miles North of US 23) near the Left Fork of Joe’s Creek. The road will be closed at this location until work is complete.
Motorists will need to use an alternate route during both closures. Work is subject to weather conditions.
