AAA announced there has been an increase in motorcycle crashes in Kentucky in 2023.

According to Lori Weaver with AAA, 231 motorcycle crashes have been reported in 2023, which is a significant increase from the 194 crashes that happened in 2022.

She also said that there have been 15 motorcycle fatalities since the beginning of 2023, which is almost double from the amount of fatalities that occurred during this time last year.

AAA is advising motorcyclists to always wear their helmet and other protective gear and to always stay aware of the road.
