A man in Lawrence County was arrested following a search of his phone that led police discovering 20 images of child porn.

33 year old Russell Pack of Lousia was arrested by the Electronic Crime Branch of the Kentucky State Police when Police received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that someone was uploading child porn using a Verizon Phone. 

Police obtained a search warrant and searched Pack’s phone. During the search, Police found images of child porn of children under 12 years old.

Afterwards, Pack confessed and admitted to law enforcement that he was downloading and viewing images. 

Pack was arrested and charged with 20 counts of the possession of child porn. Pack is facing up to 10 years in prison.
