A man in Floyd County has been charged with drug offenses after he admitted to police that he was trading meth in exchange for sex.
41 year old Justin Kidd was investigated by Kentucky State Police for suspected drug trafficking after police received several complaints of a sufficient amount of traffic coming from his home.
Kidd’s father allowed officers with KSP to enter Kidd’s home and led them to his son’s bedroom. Police quickly noticed drug paraphernalia. Kidd then turned over small amounts of heroin, meth and some prescription pills to the officers.
According to police, Kidd admitted to buying 2 ½ ounces of meth in Lexington a few days prior. Kidd then stated that he owed an ounce of meth to another person and the rest was given to women in exchange for sex.
Kidd was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia.
