Floyd County Public Library Hosting Green Dot Violence Intervention/Prevention Training Seminar on Thursday, August 3rd

The Floyd County Public Library in Prestonsburg is hosting a Green Dot Violence Intervention/Prevention Training event on Thursday, August 3rd.

Green Dot is an evidence-based primary prevention program designed to teach participants safe ways to intervene in situations of dating and domestic violence, sexual harassment and assault and child abuse.

Those with the Floyd County Public Library said they are hosting the training seminar to aid in the prevention or elimination of power-based violence in schools, homes and the community.

The event will be on Thursday, August 3rd at 1pm and will be free to the public.
