Sarah Jane Fitzpatrick Burson age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Paintsville ARH in Paintsville, Kentucky.  Sarah was born December 19, 1944 to the late Fritz and Hazel Risner Fitzpatrick.  Survivors include two daughters, Anita Adams and Janie Perkins both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother; Charlie Fitzpatrick of Royalton, Kentucky, one sister; Brenda Arnett of Royalton, Kentucky, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband; Grady Gerson Burson, one daughter; Sarah Francis Burson, two brothers; Archie Fitzpatrick and Harry Fitzpatrick and one sister; Ora Lee Fitzpatrick.

Funeral services for Sarah Burson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2023 from the Elk Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Allison Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Burson Family Cemetery at Burning Fork, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Elk Creek Freewill Baptist Church Wednesday, June 28, 2023 after 5 P.M. and anytime Thursday prior to funeral services.
