A man in Knox County was recently sentenced to twelve years behind bars following an investigation into a rape that occurred in 2019.

23 year old Ronald Leas and three other men were charged with rape and video voyeurim following the sexual assault of a woman in 2019.

According to a statement that the victim gave to police, she was raped by the four men at a hotel in Whitley County while she was intoxicated. Police also discovered that the 4 suspects had videoed the incident.

Leas pled guilty to the charges in Whitley Circuit Court and was sentenced to twelve years in prison.
