Vernon J. Bowling, age 95, passed away Monday, August 1, 201.  Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, August 5, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman, Brian Hundley, Larry Kendrick, and Adam Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
