A Van Lear man was indicted by a Johnson County grand jury on a charge of first-degree assault on Feb. 16, alongside several others. William Scott Price, 46, of Ky. 302, Van Lear, could serve 10 to 20 years in prison and be forced to pay a fine of no more than $10,000 on the class B felony charge, if convicted.
