Bright Beginnings Childcare received some special visitors this week, K9 officer bear and the Floyd County Sherriff’s Department spent some time with the staff and some of the young kids demonstrating Bear’s capabilities as an officer as well as having lunch together showing these kids that police are a resource, not an enemy. Pictured above is Deputy Randy Powers and below are only a few pics of some children that were showing K-9 officer Bear some love and admiration. These kids were also made junior deputies and received some badges while deputies like Randy Powers received some great feelings and lunch with great people.
