Johnny Walters, age 81, of Williamsport, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home.

Johnny was born December 19, 1942 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late John Walters and Mable Lucille Austin Walters. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Benji.

He is survived by one brother, Danny Walters of Williamsport, Kentucky; four sisters, Charlotte Brown of Ashland, Kentucky, Pamela G. Wells of Williamsport, Kentucky, Sandra S. King of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Esther Ward of Williamsport, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ed Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Walters Family Cemetery, Williamsport, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2024 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024.
