Vernon “Pete” Case, age 82 of Banner, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born October 12, 1941 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Sidney B. & Beulah Steele Case. He was the husband of the late Julavene Kidd Case, they were married for 58 years. He was a retired coal miner and truck driver. He is survived by his Daughters: Freeda Kidd of Banner, Kentucky & Bula Ann Case of Martin, Kentucky; Brother: Eiford Case of Freemont, Ohio; 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & a Host of Step Grandchildren. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his Children: Delene Case Roberts & 2 infants; Stepdaughter: Avanell Rose; Brothers & Sisters: Milford Case, Claude Case, Lucinda “Cindy” Case Kidd, Madeline Case Clark, Pauline Case Ramey,

Josephine Case, Gerlene Case, Lovella Case Johnson & Nannie Sue Case Caban. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Wednesday, March 27, 2024

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12 noon at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating

Burial will follow Truman Kidd Cemetery, Big Branch, Banner, Kentucky
