There was a time when people had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get quality medical care for premature infants, and now that's changing. In addition another announcement to help bring healthcare to people when people can't come to the hospital.

Officials with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the approval of the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) on Wednesday. Approximately 12,600 households in 14 counties in Kentucky that were affected by the Valentine’s Day weekend flooding are estimated to be eligible for the food assistance program to help with grocery expenses.
