Checkpoint Leads to Drug Arrest

WYMT reports a Bell county man has been arrested on several drug charges. At 1:30 a.m. August 25th, Jerry Marlow was stopped at a checkpoint in his 1987 Cutlass Oldsmobile, when he was not able to provide a valid license or proof of insurance. Marlow was said to have a handgun between the seats and initially gave troopers a false name. There was an active arrest warrant for Marlow’s arrest. Police found a box with meth, marijuana, a digital scale, and a large amount of cash i

n the floorboard. Marlow  was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, drug possession charges, and several vehicle violations. He is currently lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
