At 11:08 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead received information about a one vehicle accident on KY 1274 near Morris Road in Morehead. Upon arrival it was determined Destanee Brewer, 20, of Morehead was traveling westbound on KY 1274 when she lost control in a curve and struck a tree. She was removed from the vehicle by Morehead Fire Department and Rowan County EMS. She was airlifted to UK hospital in Lexington, KY with non-life threatening injuries. The collison remains under investigation by Trooper Howard.
