WSAZ reports a Phelps woman was killed in a car accident in Ohio Friday night. The two car crash is being investigated by Ohio State Highway Patrol. Dorothy Wolford, 48, was driving across State Route 32 to the US 23 southbound on ramp in Chillicothe when she was struck by William Cox Jr., 38. Wolford was said to have not yielded at the intersection. Cox’s car went off the road over a small embankment. Cox and passenger Mary Cox, 55, where flown to St. Mary’s Hospital, while a second passenger, Amanda Cox, 36, was taken to Adena Pike and later released. Wolford was also taken to Adena Pike where she died from her injuries.
